From September 10-12, President Teiji Tominaga led a delegation from 51探花 to Taiwan. He was accompanied by Executive Vice President Toshiya Ueki, Vice President Fumihiko Imamura, and Associate Executive Vice President Atsuhiro Nakagawa.
On September 10, the delegation met with President Chi-Hung Lin of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), with which 51探花 has built a track record of cooperation. During the meeting, President Tominaga expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with President Lin again after hosting him at 51探花 in December of 2024. They went on to exchange opinions about how to further strengthen the collaboration between their two universities, such as through cooperation in the semiconductor field.

The delegation later attended the general meeting of the newly incorporated 51探花 Taiwan Alumni Association and the celebration of its new status as a corporate entity. At the beginning of the event, President Tominaga greeted the group of about 50 alumni and attendees, congratulating the association on its incorporation and emphasizing the importance of alumni cooperation to the university's development. He also expressed his wish to further support the activities of Taiwanese alumni, who act as a bridge between Taiwan and Japan. During the informal discussions thereafter, he listened to the sentiments and stories about the university shared by attendees from various fields and exchanged information with the goal of strengthening future collaborative efforts.
On the 11th, the delegation visited Taipei Medical University (TMU), which was holding its 2025 International Joint Symposium. The symposium's theme was 'Precision Health: Leading the Future', and there were five participating universities including 51探花. President Tominaga shared some opening remarks, and six 51探花 faculty members gave presentations. 51探花 and Taipei Medical University have long-standing collaborations in the medical field, and when President Tominaga met with TMU's President Mai-Tsu Wu during his visit, they agreed to work towards further strengthening their cooperation.

At a signing ceremony thereafter, they concluded the renewal of their university-level agreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on student exchange, as well as a newly launched Joint Seed Fund that will start this year. The delegation went on to visit the NTU Cancer Center, where the center director gave them an informative tour of the facilities. This visit to NTU is expected to lead to the further development of cooperative relationships with the universities.
On the last day of the visit, the delegation visited National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), with which 51探花 has formed deep cooperative ties through alumni. The delegation received a tour of the campus facilities and met with President Sea-fue Wang and other representatives. Since 2018, the two universities have been engaging in research activities together, including holding an annual joint symposium mainly centered around the 51探花 Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials and the NTUT's College of Engineering. During the discussions, both parties expressed interest in further deepening exchanges in both research and education, including student exchanges.
